Founded and directed by Vania Vrondi, Master of Arts in Classical Ballet and Choreography from GITIS, Moscow, the Academy brings together high-quality artistic education, creativity, and professional training in a warm, inspiring environment.

Career Highlights

• Master of Arts in Classical Ballet and Choreography – Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (GITIS), Moscow, Russia.
• Former Soloist of the Sarajevo National Theatre Ballet.
• Founder & Artistic Director of the Imperial Russian Academy, Limassol, Cyprus.
• Over 30 years of professional experience as a ballet dancer, choreographer, educator and artistic director.
• Recipient of the Teacher Excellence Award at the European Ballet Grand Prix, Austria, in recognition of outstanding achievement in ballet education.
• Direct pedagogical lineage of Agrippina Vaganova through her mentor, Nabila Galeevna Valitova, preserving the authentic traditions and teaching principles of the world-renowned Vaganova Method.
• Trained by distinguished ballet masters including Ekaterina Maximova, Raisa Struchkova, Evgeny Valukin, Alexander Bogatyrev, Igor Sech and Natalia Orlovskaya of the Bolshoi Theatre.
• Master’s thesis examined and approved by ballet legend Vladimir Vasiliev and celebrated ballerina Olga Lepeshinskaya.
• Producer, choreographer and artistic director of full-length Classical Ballets, Ballet Galas, Music Concerts and officially licensed Broadway Musicals.
• Collaborated with soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre and distinguished Russian choreographers including Irina Lazareva, Lilia Sabitova and Natalia Sokovikova.
• All Broadway Musical productions presented by the Academy are officially licensed by Music Theatre International (MTI).
• Vania Vrondi’s students are Gold, Silver and Bronze medallists at prestigious World and European Ballet Competitions and have continued their education and professional careers at internationally recognised ballet schools, universities and professional ballet companies.
• Founder of Art Devotion, a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the performing arts and cultural development in Cyprus.
• Member of the Cyprus Ballet Teachers Association.
• Member of the International Dance Council (CID), the official worldwide organisation for dance under the umbrella of UNESCO.
• Dedicated to preserving and passing on the authentic heritage of the Russian Classical Ballet School through the traditions of the Vaganova Method, inspiring future generations of dancers and artists at the Imperial Russian Academy.
