At Imperial Russian Academy, Art is a journey of creativity, discovery and self-expression.

Our Art program is designed especially for younger children, encouraging them to explore their imagination, experiment with different materials and develop their own creative ideas.

Through playful and age-appropriate activities, children develop artistic skills while also strengthening concentration, patience, coordination, imagination, confidence and independence.

🎨 Drawing & Colouring

Children discover the joy of drawing and colouring while exploring lines, shapes, colours and simple artistic techniques.

Through creative projects, they develop observation, colour awareness, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and creative self-expression.

Children are encouraged to develop their own ideas and express themselves freely through their artwork.

🖌️ Textured Painting

Textured Painting introduces children to the exciting world of colour, texture and different artistic materials.

Children experiment with surfaces, layers and textures to create unique artworks. This activity encourages creativity, sensory exploration, imagination and artistic expression.

✂️ Art & Craft

Art & Craft combines creativity with hands-on making.

Children work with different materials, shapes and techniques to create their own artistic and handmade projects.

The activities help develop fine motor skills, concentration, patience, creativity, hand-eye coordination and independence.

✨ Decorative Art

Decorative Art focuses on creating beautiful handmade decorative objects.

Children explore the creative process of designing and making pieces such as candles, vases, picture frames and other decorative creations.

They experiment with different materials, colours, textures and techniques while developing creativity, patience, craftsmanship and an appreciation for handmade art.

🏺 Clay Art & Clay Theatre

Working with clay allows children to create with their hands and explore three-dimensional forms.

Children learn to shape and model their own characters and objects. In Clay Theatre, these creations become part of imaginative stories and simple theatrical activities.

This unique combination of art, modelling and storytelling encourages creativity, communication and confidence.

Art In The Afternoon Academy

Art is an important part of our Afternoon Academy Program for children aged 4–7.

Children experience different artistic activities throughout the week, including:

• Art & Craft
• Textured Painting
• Decorative Art
• Clay Art & Clay Theatre
• Creative Games and Workshops

The activities are carefully chosen for their age and developmental stage, allowing children to learn through creativity, exploration and play.

Our aim is not for every child to create the same picture or object. Instead, we give children the skills, materials and encouragement to develop their own ideas and imagination.
