Vania made her first ballet steps in an American school of classical ballet in the Libyan capital,Tripoli. However, profound ballet education started for her at the Belgrade State Ballet School, Serbia. Working very hard day by day, the talented young ballerina, fascinated by ballet, soon secured her first significant success.

In 1987 she was awarded by the Belgrade City Assembly as the best student ballerina. In 1988-89 Vania continued her education at the ballet department of the School of Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, winning awards for the best ballet performance and becoming the US “Honor Society ”Member.

1990- Professional engagement in the National Theatre in Sarajevo. In 1990-91 Vania was performing in classical ballets – “Giselle”, ”Swan Lake”, ”Don Quixote”, ”La Fille mal Garden”, ”Sleeping Beauty” as well as in modern performances – “Carmina Burana”, ”Dervis and Death”, ”Scent of Rain in the Balkan”. A Critique particularly appreciated her elegance, lyricism and the passionate temperament of her dancing. Winning a contest, Vania received a State Grant, enabling her to enroll in the Ballet Department (of The Bolshoi Theatre), the famous Moscow State Academy of Theatrical Arts (GITIS).

Vania spent her years from 1992-1997 exploring the depths of professional ballet and choreography. She was studying classical ballet, history of dance, music, costumes, theory of ballet, music, theatre, directing, drama and choreography as well as mastering all kinds of dances. She was taking lessons from the most prominent dancers and teachers of the Russian ballet – E.Maximova, R.Struchkova, E.Valukin, A.Bogatyrev, and I.Seh.

The professors of GITIS praised Vania`s impeccable performing skills and original choreography as well as her exceptionally high level of ballet mastering.

Vania’s main tutor at the Academy was Natalia Orlovskaya ,a soloist of Bolshoi Theatre. Vladimir Vasiliev, a world famous dancer and the General Director of Bolshoi Theatre until recent times, together withO.Lepeshinskaya, acted as key examiners who defended and approved of Vania’s final Master Degree thesis titled:”Development of artistic expression and individual style of the classical ballet students at a professional choreographic school.”

One of Vania’s greatest mentors was Nabila G. Valitova , famous prima ballerina of Voronez National Theatre, who was a direct student of Vaganova (and classmate with Dudinskaya). She gave her some of the most valuable tips directly coming from Vaganova.The Vaganova method training is acknowledged all over the world as the strongest and leading ballet syllabus.

1997 was the year Vania was qualified as a Professional Ballet Teacher of Choreography. Vania’s first teaching experience was at Voronez StateDance School. Later she was a Ballet teacher at the Belgrade State Ballet School “ Lujo Davico.”

In 1998 Vania established her own school “Russian Classical Ballet School” in Limassol,Cyprus. In 1999 the school opened a Music department and changed its name to “Russian Classical Ballet and Music School”. The school organized a number of Ballet performances and Music Concerts in Cyprus’ most recognized theatres . Some of the most successful were: The Famous Classical Ballet “Don Quixote”, “Alice in Wonderland”, “Four Seasons” Vivaldi, “Charlie Chaplin”, ”Variations” Evening of Ballet and Opera, “Mozart Forever”….Moving to 2011, the School is started enlarging and opening more departments such as Dance, Theatre, Fine Art, Martial Art and thus developing into a Russian Professional Art School. Russian Professional Art School of Vania Vrondi has achieved a high reputation throughout the years in the cultural world of Cyprus for the superior quality of the artistic training and high level performances – Broadway Musicals “Little Mermaid”,”Jungle Book”,” Peter Pan “,”High School Musical”…

From 2019 the school expanded even more with new premises and its latest new name IMPERIAL RUSSIAN ACADEMY

Vania Vrondi ballet students are professional dancers at Belgrade Theatre, Moscow City Ballet, Russian Classical Ballet, graduatesof American Ballet Theatre School in New York, USA, Cambridge Dance Univer sity, England and other highly recognized Ballet Universities and Companies.

Vania Vrondi students were Finalists and Prize Winners of many International and World Ballet Competitions.

In 2017 Vania Vrondi organized a non-profit organization Art Devotion.

Art Devotion – Performing and Creative Center is non – profit organization with the aim to present, promote and perfect art in Cyprus. The organization wants to provide the best opportunities for artists that aspire to further improve their already strong artistic backgrounds by fully devoting themselves to the creativity & development in their chosen field of Art.

Art Devotion organized for the first time in Cyprus a full Classical Ballet “ The Nutcracker” by the famous Russian Composer P.I. Tchaikovsky with Russian Ballet Stars from Bolshoi Theatre, professional Cyprus Ballet Dancers and students of Russian the professional Art School – Vania Vrondi , now Imperial Russian Academy. It has been four years in a row that Art Devotion has presented “ The Nutcracker “ in Cyprus, (Limassol,Nicosia) with enormous success. This production is a major happening in Cyprus during the winter season and an important step for Cyprus Culture. Since there is no Ballet Opera and Theatre in Cyprus, Art Devotion gives a unique possibility to professional Ballet Artists and Students living in Cyprus to present their extraordinary talent.
