Alexandra Pazenko and Alina Stolbova earned a TOP 12 placement in the Duet – Contemporary Dance category at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP), the world’s largest and most prestigious international ballet competition for students aged 9 to 19. This renowned event brought together over 750 participants from around the globe, each showcasing exceptional talent and artistry.
Alina Stolbova achieved a TOP 12 ranking in the Classical Ballet Solo category, underscoring her versatility and dedication.

The Imperial Russian Academy, representing Cyprus, has once again demonstrated its superior talent and dedication to the arts by securing numerous prizes at the World Ballet Grand Prix in Norway. Competing against elite dancers globally, the Academy’s representatives showcased exceptional skill, creativity, and passion, resulting in a remarkable collection of accolades. This is a huge international achievement for the ballet world in Cyprus.
Classical Ballet Solo Variation
In the highly competitive Classical Ballet Solo Variation category, the Academy’s dancers dominated:
🥇Gold Medal: Pava Vojinovic and Alexandra Pazenko captivated judges and audiences with their exquisite performances.
🥈Silver Medal: Sofia Petukhova, Alina Stolbova, Valeria Adamenko, and Ofek Bitterman delivered technically flawless and emotionally resonant routines.
🥉Bronze Medal: Nikol Lanskaya and Emily Andreadou for their outstanding solos.
Judge Achievement Prize: Elizaveta Uzhgintseva and Amalia Ibragimova were honored for their exceptional contributions and unique artistry.
